WW: How To Practice Self-Care While Caring For Others
As a busy mom, it’s your job to care for your kids. Making sure they go to school, get fed, participate in extracurricular activities, and everything in between quickly becomes your reality.
This means you’ve probably cut back, or completely given up on, taking time for yourself.
You might think this is just part of being a mom. Unfortunately, this belief can come back to haunt you when it comes to getting fit and healthy.
So as soon as it’s time to focus on the things you want to achieve you start to feel like you’re squeezing it into your already hectic life. It turns into yet another task to cross of your never-ending to-do list.
All this does is create burnout, stress, and make you just want to give up completely. Believe it or not, the best thing you can do to prevent this is to practice self-care.
On today’s #WellnessWednesday I’m going to talk about the importance of taking care of yourself if you’re the person who is always taking care of others, something a lot of us moms are guilty of.
